Posts: 4 | | Ok, so i ran across this problem the other day, when having a disagreement with my girlfriend (although it's also applicable to non girlfriend situations i suppose)
Basically we had an argument and she over reacted. It ended with her kinda apologising and saying
Girlfriend: "next time it happens, don't tell me about it"
I came back with
Me: "believe me, I wont"
Kind of a dig, but she had just had a massive go at me, and was justified. Then she said
girlfriend: "Believe me I won't? Don't be a dick"
now she's totally called me out when she was in the wrong. It seemed like I had no option but to try and defend my comment which made me seem like i was in the wrong.
Does anybody have any good comebacks for this kind of situation, when you're completely called out?
