I see that you're located in China. Many Eastern nations unfortunately have Confucianism deeply rooted in their cultures. As a result, you're going to run into a lot of prudes. I live in South Korea and many women are like that as well, but you'll still run into a good freak every now and then.

There does seem to be a cultural component, as well as an economic component. Out here, the "bad girls" want money and the "good girls" want promises. The Western-style hookup scene seems not to exist--if the girl is willing to go for a no-strings-attached hookup, she figures she might as well charge for it. But even the nice girls can be very, VERY sexually aggressive trying to entice you into making a promise.

There's also the phenomenon of the "show boyfriend"--a beautiful young Asian girl will get herself a wimpy, scrubby-faced Beta male boyfriend to please her father's conservative expectations, but privately make it clear to him that he's for show and that she remains available for flings with the bad-boy types that really turn her on. So just because she looks innocent and has a long-term boyfriend doesn't necessarily mean she's unavailable--it might just mean you have to be very, very discreet. I think I got it. I talked to a local Chinese guy about the problem and he is sure he knows what I've been doing wrong. This bar that I go to is a hostess bar. The girls there are all staff, not customers. They're not hookers, but they do make a commission on every drink you buy them, and that's how they make their living. I've watched them turn down guys who tried to pay to take them home. These girls are poor-- six of them live just down the street from me and they're all crowded into a dump. Anyway, I go to this bar so often I am sure that I am responsible for more than half of its monthly sales. This Chinese guy told me that in that situation, the boss will fire any girl who fucks me, because she figures that once I get what I want, I'll stop spending money out there--after all, why buy the cow if you can get the milk for free? So the game is to keep teasing money out of the customer as long as possible, using unfulfilled promises of sex. The girls won't risk getting fired unless you agree to make them your girlfriend proper, meaning provide financial support. They just can't afford to risk losing their jobs. My friend told me that the right move to make in that situation is to call their bluff--stop going to the hostess bar, go to the local disco instead, and let the hostess bar know that's my new hangout. He reckons I've got enormous leverage out there with the amount of money I spend. If I take my money elsewhere, the boss will eventually realize that she can make more money letting the girls bang me if they want than by having them endlessly tease me.
