I'm in a band and we have some classified ads up because we're looking for a vocalist. Now we're only looking for a male vocalist, but our ad doesn't specify that, so I get contacted by a good number of cute rocker girls that want to be in a band. So I'm thinking, since their not really an option for a vocalist, I could just use the opportunity to try to pick them up.
Any ideas on how to execute this? I have a studio where I can invite them out for an "audition". And I think they're usually pretty self conscious when auditioning for a band, like they're worried we won't like them.

I'd say give her a go, i persoanlly dont like female singer mostly due to the bullshit they sometimes write.
But yeah give her ago she could be a fantastic singer and most importantly song writter.
Just my opinion.
