| So I learned quite a lot a couple years ago, but stopped coming around. Of course like anything you don't practice, you lose after awhile. So I decided to brush up on my skills, and found that I may have stumbled across a new technique along the lines of DHV. I like to call them "cliff hangers", and this is how they work.
I say something that at first makes me sound a little less knowledgeable or worthy than her, but I play it cool and let her have a laugh or whatever comes along with it (Because I know there is more to the story than I am telling her). Later on in the night [best if within the next hour or so..] I use a DHV that connects back to what I said earlier, and makes her think to herself "oh...that's why he said that."
For example: I pretend I don't know 'exactly' where north carolina is located on the US map, so I wouldn't know if it has a beach. The girl gets a nice laugh out of it, and cannot believe how stupid I sounded. Later that night the topic of summer break came up, and I told her I was going to cancun, the only place I ever go to the beach.
This is not a prime example, but you can get my just of what I mean. This is why it works... this one routine gets them to laugh, in the end gets you a DH, and DLV from her to herself. You also can show her a DHV by not correcting or standing up for yourself at all when she mocks you in the beginning of your cliff hanger. Make it out like you don't care, because like I mentioned earlier, there is another part to the story that she doesn't know. However, after this technique is deployed on a target enough, it is her desire to know. She will be hanging over each word you say. wondering about what all you're not telling her.
