I normally always go for a quick number close, but I came to think of this. Have you guys ever just dropped business card instead and told her to call?

And does anyone have a routine for how to make that work?

I'm gonna try this, Im a personal trainer and girls usually like that when they see my card. I'll put in a field report and show my result.

But please if anyone has a routine for this, post it and share with the rest of us!

In my experience so far, it hasn't worked.

I'm a producer/engineer and I handed a card to a chick i met at denny's. Haven't heard anything yet. She's a musician so I would expect her to call if she wants to record haha.

a guy I work with does this all the time. He gives women his card after a few minutes of conversation and has never had one call him. I tried to explain to him that, at that point, the girl isn't going to call because she just won't feel comfortable with you yet AND knows that you are only after her body. I mean, what can you know about somebody after a few minutes of interactions. He still does it though, hoping that a woman will be so taken by his looks, that she'll call him, but I put those chances at pretty slim. His cards are like $0.50 each too. (they are sort of blinged out, so to speak.)

Your post make a lot of sense and this is why I posted this question.
Thing is though, I have been able to pull girls phonenumbers in less than a minute plenty of times, even less than that actually. And many times that has lead to great interactions later on.
So I thought, is there some sort of approach that would convince the girl to text you her number if you gave her your business card.
It would be a pretty cool way to pick up girls.

I have a couple of ideas but until I have field tested them I leave them out of the post.
