Tennis-ball underneath the arm pinching the artery between the bicep and bone. You put pressure on the ball and it will cut the pulse off in your wrist.

Tennis ball is a bit big (as in obvious) those small bouncy rubber balls that children always have will work just as well if you place it correctly

you can stop your pulse by putting a rolled up napkin or handkerchief under your arm pit (you'll need to practice where exactly to put it) by squeezing your upper arm into your side, the napkin compresses the vein/artery whatever that runs through there, temporarily stopping blood flow down to your wrist, cause your pulse to "stop". Releasing the pressure will enable blood flow to return.

actually the key to stopping your pulse is purely psychological... ive been doing magic for many many years and i will share this one little trick for you guys since ive learned so much on this site and i see you all as my buddies and mentors even tho ive never met any of you.

so as i said the key to stopping your pulse is purely a psychological technique....the effect is this: you make up some patter about how you have complete control over your heart rate which is a completely involuntary muscle... so u grab their wrist and tell them you see how i can easily feel your pulse? and make a tapping motion with your other hand indicating the beat of their pulse..(70% of the time you wont be able to feel the pulse or it will be super faint to begin with but if you dont, just pretend) now.....you tell them you can slow your pulse down and even stop it....heres how its done...you have someone put their index and middle fingers on your wrist to feel your pulse as they reach their hand to touch your wrist you nonchalantly take a deep breath, this will temporarily spike your pulse.....when they feel your pulse tell them to make a tapping motion along with is just as you did for theirs... now heres where the psychology begins, as i said before 70% of the time they wont be able to find your pulse, and if they do its only because of the deep breath you just took to spike and sort of intensify your pulse, so as they tap the beat of your pulse with their other hand, just start to slow your breathing rate down without being obvious about it...this will stop the elevated pulse and bring your pulse back to normal, then it will slow down and eventually the person will lose your pulse, you will literally see their other hand slowing down to a complete stop because they have lost your pulse.... they usually freak out, keep your breathing rate slow and steady for a moment (you can even act like your about to faint or something) then non chalantly take another deep breath before you explain your going to bring your pulse back, that will spike your pulse again and they will immediately feel ur pulse again.. (by the way, dont forget to have your entire arm up when you do this or it wont work, i mean like dont have your elbow resting on anything..) ive been doing this one for years and it always freaks ppl out but ive never used it for PU so let me know if any of you guys use it and the results...

one more thing.... back in the day, ppl used to use the tennis ball or the billiard ball under the arm but you can actually hurt yourself really bad stopping the blood flow of an artery like that so watch out with it.....plus its really unnecessary..

i learned this effect from a well known magician in the magic community name Luke Jermay, he is an advisor for Criss Angel and this effect can be found on his DVD called "Skull Duggery" hope this helps some of you guys out!
