I was at a party trying to chat up this girl who was there with a couple of friends. [at least three guys, I'm not sure how many others] We get to talking a bit and as soon as she's getting invested in the conversation one of her guy friends comes up and makes this observation off hand that completely throws off my game. Literally stopped me in my tracks, fucked up my game, and worst of all made the girl laugh at my expense. Touche strange man. I like your style. Now I've incorporated this into my game. so far it's had the same affect every time.


(Random guy is chatting up female friend of mine)
Enter scene
Guy: blah blah
Me: (interrupting) hey, do you know kung fu?
Guy: haha blah no, I know blah/blah/blah
Me: oh nevermind, you look just like this girl Jaimie I met at a party.
Guy: haha no I'm blah
Me: that's too bad, she knows kung fu and started teaching all of us some moves.
Guy: haha...(awkward pause)... (finishes story then shuts down)

It works even if they already knew each other. It'll leave him trying to qualify himself on whatever martial arts he knows. Does anyone have any ideas on how this could be improved?
