Hey guys,

Now that facebook has came out with the new timeline feature, it seems to me like any girls that first stalk you will have their attention drawn to your large cover photo. Any one have ideas for a cover that demonstrates that you're a boss?

I was thinking of making a collage of a bunch of pics of me partying with different friends (50-50 with girls and guys), with maybe a large picture of my graduate school in the background.

I can't post links yet since my account is new, but if you google 'unique facebook timeline cover' you can find some really other interesting and creative covers that people have come up with, but I don't know if I want to spend the time making one of those.

Any thoughts?

I guess the only I advice I have for you here my man is be creative..
Stay away from dark, creepy, or any picture that could creep a girl out.
Women like adventure, excitement, interesting things....

So, for an example mine is a great black and white photo of a 1957 Cadillac, and the front grill is shiny chrome, it goes with my b&w profile pic... I have somewhat a 50's greaser style so it fits well.

Use anything alpha. You know what to do buddy!
Be creative.

I would say that you wouldn't want anything that looks like you spent too much time making it. If you're going with a group photo, I'd suggest one with your friends that's classy yet shows that you're fun.

I chose a picture of the amp from spinal tap. It fits my look and personality.

Ok now i believe your pro pic or any other cover pic should demonstrate high value,social proof, and a reflection of your personality. Coz your cover pic is the first impression people get of you,if they don't like it,they wont bother to get to know you!
DHV whatever you do refrain from any pics that DLV.when they see your pic they should wana be eager to get to know you,building a great AVATAR is important.also pics of you at a cool location wil work. the beach,etc.
SOCIAL-PROOF : your pic should show social proof, that you're not a nerd that play computer games all day,that you actualy have friends.
So pics with friends at parties or a sportsgame etc.
My pro pic used to be a pic of me with 2 of my mates and 3 hb's on my mate's balcony and all three of us sits wit guitars. It got alot of likes and comments.Now its a pic of me and my couz with our surfboards.but i do recommend cool pics of you and HB's,thats DHV,you look like the man and girls see that you have other female company so they start to qualify themselves,not the other way around. Anyway thats just me man.

It's kinda cool, at least for me!

Personally I opted to keep the old layout and chose my best tagged pictures to sit at the top of my profile.

A good picture would be one where you have value, are enjoying yourself and have social proof. e.g Standing with friends and your arm round a hot girl wearing a ridiculous hat or doing something ridiculous to be funny would be the ultimate pic.

I think eventually facebook will force everyone to have a timeline so when that time comes I will probably blend them together on photoshop or something.
