My wing is a good wing, but sometimes he will just put me down in front of girls when I am taking control of the set. He will always say "This goofy lookin white boy" or something like that. Ive talked to him about it before but he just wont quit whenever i take over the set. I need something to say thats not going to put him down, but show him who's boss.

just get happy and say ,

goofiest lookin mother fucker ever,

then say, don't trust this guy he steals, then pat him on the back

if he ever puts you down, just agree with him, make it seem stupid, then put him down, continue all night if you have to, just make sure it only makes you happier, if you seem like you have a negative reaction, your doin it wrong, just agree exaggerate, say something about him, and cut the thread and move on

if he confronts you, say, then shut the fuck up dude, your making us look bad

i have the same problem with some of my friends who are total cock blocks and just love to put me down and try to "steal" my set, this will help ALOT but is there some other things i can say if he trys that shit again??

you can also just be the bigger man, and don't react to anthingy he does, just ignore him, be more social then him, talk more, don't get mad, don't get pouty just stay the same... talk more... ignore... every now and then when he makes a rude comment or says something, just say either ok or right or exactly, just bring more interesting topics of discussion / routines to the conversation, and do not let him alter your frame of mind, or suck you into his negative reality, keep conscious track of what is coming out of your mouth, people that look to others for security and are unsure of themselves often will try to qualify themselves/seek approval after negative validation (good example of this is the neg), just don't try to impress the person insulting you, and don't try to seek their attention/approval.... just ignore them, someone on this board told me something about a man,

the man was asked what he thought of another man who was insulting him,
he told him, I DO NOT THINK OF HIM AT ALL

or something along those lines you get the point

Pretty annoying situation you've got there. Personally I'd really drive it home with him that he's damaging your chances and if he still persists just go solo. I guess if he's making comments about what you look like physically reverse it and put it back on him, make him seem vain and worried about appearance. Sorry I haven't got a nicer way of doing this, I'm not one for tolerating this stuff from friends. Hell if he's dishing it out he can take it back right? Have some fun with it

whenever people bag on me, i just laugh and agree with them. it makes you look like you dont really care what people think of you. plus you're not disturbed by it, which demonstrates self-control, which demonstrates maturity and confident.

Ya the best thing to do is just agree with what someone says if they try to do that, makes them look lower value than you. Over the last few months I have been clubbing and I wear a big white feathery boa, I have guys come up to me and straight to my face say things such as "Wow, why are you wearing that you like like a f*g" I tend to use lines like "cool story bro", or "that's nice". They end up just leaving or try to say something else and that's when a girl ends up grabbing me telling the guy to back off
