When a girl says that she doesn't want to date because she recently got out of a relationship....is there anyway to break this barrier because I am afraid to give her too much space so another guy can come in....let me know what you guys think, thanks!

Just forget she ever said that. If things are going well, keep them going. Either she'll change her mind or it'll become clear that even though she's not ready, you'd be the first pick if she was (and possibly when she is, if nothing else changes, but no need to wait around at that point)

Don't get involved in the past relationship's shortcomings and don't concern yourself with it one bit. Let her deal with it. You're the new fresh clean slate without the baggage.

I like Conker's advice to forget she ever said that.

I forget where I read this but if she does say that again, back off cold turkey with no kissing touching anything and step away completely to do another activity (or turn on the lights). If you do this right she will say "but wait i didn't mean it like that" and then you can either jump back in or say "I respect what you said, and when you said that it showed me that you're still not ready and I get that."

most recently it seems the girls im meeting are those kind of girls, just out of a relationship and so on. and i have had great success, possibly your frame is to much like you want to date her? instead she will be looking for a rebound, something fun and not relationship material?
