Ok guys, last night met a girl and her friends at a party. I'm talking to her, then her friends show up out of nowhere. I start talking to her two guy friends and her girl friend, I ignore her and she says to me" your gonna just take all of my friends away and not even ask for my number, I'm so over you". I didn't jump directly in and ask for her number there. We talked a little more, she's touching me I grab her ass she returns the favor, she rubs my chest i caress hers. We're having a good time why I didn't try to kiss her maybe because I'm a chump. When I was leaving i sat down and I said " your number started with what again". She said "I'm not falling for that". I said "seriously", she gave me her number she told me her full name since I already knew her first name I gave her the nickname Classy she loved it we chatted for a little while longer and I had to leave. My question is should I call or text first, also how long should I wait until doing so.

This question has been the most confusing in the dating world for ages.

But lately,I've been hearing many gurus say,"Text her soon after the # close".

Not a day later but within an hour or few.

Dont recall the exact rational for this but when you do text,it should be the equivalent of call-back humor.

Sounds like you got the thing down pat! I have a follow up question if you don't mind me asking. I you get a girls number, but you arn't able to see her for a week (distance, job, school, etc) BUT you do plan on meeting again the following weekend/club night/weekly party:
how often should you text her during that time interval so she doesn't loos interest in you?
