Really need some guidance please. Okay, I text this girl and suggested we should meetup. She then says she has to work on her dissertation for the next two weeks and cant have any fun. I text back saying "im sure one night off wouldnt hurt". To which she laughed at said "alright, i'll let you know IF i think i deserve it". I feel like thats a blow off. What do you guys think? Should i text her again about it?

I was thinking of sending something like "i think someone deserves a night off " in a day or two. What do you think?

Im pretty new to this stuff myself but from what iv learned definitely don't ask again, you've already given her the power when she says "I'll let you know" and if you keep asking you'll look desperate and that your just waiting around to hear from her

I'd stop talking to her for a while, go meet new people and have fun while she "works on her dissertation" and in a couple of weeks strike up a casual conversation with her and somehow tie in how much fun you've been having and all the new people you've met

Don't be so easily available either, ignore a txt of hers here and there, let your phone ring out to voicemail sometimes if she's calling
