I'll try to keep it short:

I met this cute girl months ago on Facebook when she randomly added me. We texted for a few weeks before hand a lot and teased each other and such and I got to know her. She visited for a week at that time since she went to college hours away. Her and I went to dinner and then a movie and talked for a while. I did some kino routines before the movie started and she was really into the ESP stuff and wanted me to do it again afterwards since I guessed her right every time. I tried to escalate some kino during the movie by me putting my hand on her thigh ect. She didn't really seem to care but she also didn't reciprocate. We hugged and said goodbye afterwords.

I then became an AFC(was really into her) and texted her shortly after saying I enjoyed it and would like to do something with her again sometime when she gets back and I hope she was uncomfortable ect. She responded saying she had fun too and would like to hang out but only as friends!

I then texted that I must have mis-read her bla bla bla to which she replied that happens a lot ect. I then said in a playful manner that I don't think she's really my type anyway.We teased each other some more the following week but I then I just dropped her when she didn't respond to a good comeback.

So months go by and she graduates college and moves back to my town where she works for now. Now I've been out of the game for the past few months due to taking tons of college courses including now but I said what the heck and texted her Happy Birthday (facebook reminded me)

She replied saying thanks and asking how I have been ect. to which I said really busy and asked her about her job(she works in a nursing home but thinks hospitals are cooler).

Anyway my last text a few days ago was:

Me : Hey..old people are cool too. That's neat, I'm sure you have a lot of stories. What's your 1 year plan?

Her: reapplying to med school next year but may stay here and work or live in (her state) with friends...still haven't decided yet.

I then left it at that and it's been a week.

Should I just drop her for good?

I figure if she were interested she would have texted me back but she rarely did that before too. I guess I have no chance on her and am too deep in the friend zone to recover. Sadly she's one of the only girls I'm in touch with at the moment since everyone I know has graduated this past spring. But I was thinking maybe throwing a hail mary text since I assume she doesn't have many friends here since her parents just moved to my town a few years ago. Something along the lines of:

Me: That's cool, well maybe I'll cya around. We should go downtown/get drinks sometime while your here, that is if your not afraid of a challenge at pool ((challenged me last time).

Or should I just say

Me: Cool, maybe I'll cya around, it's a small town. and see if she brings up the idea herself (mutual interest)? Or is that too AFCish?


Man I've been out of the game for like 6 months and you really do turn into an AFC fast if you don't practice.

I'd go for the pool thing. IMO you should've atleast kissed closed on the 1st date. If you put your hand on her thigh and she didn't do anything that's reciprocating enough go for an arm around her, pull her in, kiss close. And who knows what that might've led to.

You got nothing to lose on this one so i'd just go for it. It sounds like you're asking her out as friends anyways.

If there's any chance that it'll get around to your friends and lower your social value, don't do it. She already rejected you, so going after her again will look bad if it turns out she isn't interested. If she's not friends with your friends, then AttractionKings is right, you have nothing to lose.

Alrighty, I got busy again and it's been over a week. I figure I'll give it a shot in a week or two after I'm done with classes.

It seems like I killed it or let it die by not responding, then again she could have kept it going. It seems like I'm always the one getting back in contact, I was really about to drop her and move on but I may just give it one more shot. I have nothing to loose + I really don't have any options at this time unfortunately. Once I graduate and move to the city I think I'll have more opportunities.Friends are not a problem and they know nothing about her, they don't really ask/care about girls I talk to.

I figure I'll try this text routine tonight:

Text:

Me: *blank text*

Her: ?

Me: ? Why send me a question mark?

Her: You sent a blank text

Me: You don't need to make up excuses to talk to me [her name]. I don't bite

Her: haha you did tho

Me: Lies! Anyway, I've got a surprise for you next time you see me...



Something along those lines and see how that goes, of course the outcome could backfire but I have nothing to lose this time. If it goes well then I'll invite her to go see the new planet of the apes movie tomorrow since I'm going with or without her anyway (really am since I want to see it) and pretty much all my friends are out of town anyway, nothing to lose.

You still have a chance, just understand that its slim. And a lot of people underestimate the positives of having a girl around thats just a friend. She could be a great wing, won't steal your date, can easily keep your date entertained and will keep you from looking like a complete loser since you managed to keep one girl around you. In addition if you game around her you will have much better chances with her because you will break the classic friend mold of the guy wanting the girl and the girl getting attention and resisting. Instead you will give her SPAM of being a guy friend, drink a few, play pool and then watch as you go hit on girls while she shyly waits for you to get finished and maybe gets a few guys to hit on her, but her attention will probably stay on you since she wants to see what happens to her friend, also she can't get angry at you since your just friends, but she will want to because you aren't paying attention to her. She might even become jealous if you score a girl hotter than her or that has some quality that makes her feel insecure. If she has small breasts hit on girls with bigger breasts, if she's short go for girls taller, if she is blonde go for a brunette, if she is a brunette go for a blonde, ect. She will realize you aren't the type of guy who was just settling to be her friend, and then she will realize that your sincere and your connection was sincere, and then she will want you and be a little jealous of all the attention the other girls were getting. And all the girls you hit on will notice the girl in the corner of the pool table area patiently watching you and they will try harder to get your attention. It seems like a win win situation to me, even if your chances are slim. What could you lose. And like you said your friends don't care so why should you. The last girl that was a friend with me helped out my game, she even tried to set me up with some of her friends, and then she came onto me. It was a rough ride though so if you can't connect as friends first then I would give it up. Unfortunately this was all when I was a major afc so I didn't take advantage of any of it and missed my chances, but I did learn some cool stuff about moving in and out of the friend zone. Her: That sounds like so much fun! I want to see it mainly because of tom felton but I'm working until 1030 both nights

Me: Lame, oh well

And I left the conversation there. I am busy any other nights and I was under the mentality of not accommodating to her (according to most PUA's on here). Should I just leave it be and see if she gets back to me? I doubt she will since I normally have to text her back to get a conversation going even if weeks go by. I think she is being honest but I'm not sure what to do here. I could go by myself since I am going to see it anyway but it wouldn't be nearly as fun. I'm actually busy the rest of the week except Saturday night. But then that would be accommodating to her. It's not like it's a date or anything since I'm still stuck in the "friend zone".

Find someone else to go with you in a couple days. Don't invite her again, but try to meet some new people and give it a couple days for comfort and invite her out. Movies aren't always the best first dates, but you want to see it anyway, might as well try to bring a girl!
