I need advice/suggestions on technique in regards to keeping interest over a time gap where hanging out is not possible.

Specific Scenario: Meet HB one weekend and number close. Hang out the next weekend casually amongst friends. HB expresses interest in hanging out again the following tuesday, but can't for the next two weekends (btw, I cannot hang out during the week due to grueling work schedule). I initially chose to freeze because she was the last to initiate contact (text), but am second guessing this approach because a) the first week has come and gone without communication and b) the next weekend she is going to vegas for a bachelorette party which will DEFINITELY be a distraction. I want to initiate some sort of contact and put some interest on lay away for when she returns but don't want to pull an AFC and seem overly-interested.

Suggestions?

Idk if I'll get in trouble with the mods for advertising another website, but there's a huge thread on the attraction forums filled with really good text message openers. Send her one of those and text game as usual,initiating contact doesn't have to be AFC.
