Hi guys. I need some advice. So I met this girl online and was communication through e-mail and eventually I was able to get her phone number and we started to text. Now we have gone out twice and have been talking since December. So this past Wednesday I texted and told her that I really liked her (first big mistake) and she replied that she did not feel the same way and that she feels that we lack chemistry.
I felt totally rejected and replied that I respected her decision and let her know that I would love to try and work on that chemistry if given the chance to. She had also mentioned that she would like to be friends. I also replied that if she wanted to, we could stay as friends. I received her text yesterday at about 1:30 pm and have not received a response since. I am afraid that I may have really screwed this up and she may be cutting me loose. I would like to ask, do you guys think I still have a chance to fix this or have I just destroyed this chance? Any advice at all would be much appreciated. Thanks.

IMO it's over. You can always try to be friend with her, but don't do that if you want to make a move on her after "being just friend".
