Hey now,

New to the board and I must say I hold a lot of respect for those on here with great questions and answers. I am fairly new to the game, but have had a lot of success with a handful of F-closes and an abundance of K-closes.

I am in the entertainment industry so I am lucky enough to be around a lot of young actors and actress's. A friend of mine put me in touch with a young hb9 who has her own reality show (I've already neg'd her about it :p) and we started a good amount of text game. There are a couple obstacles here. One being she's in NY and I'm in LA. She plans on coming to town soon so I want to make sure everything goes correctly. Our text game has sort of come to a stand still because there's only so much you can talk about when you aren't seeing each other.

A couple of questions I had.

A. How can I kickstart the text game again?
B. Does anyone have experience with a girl coming out and hanging out with a them? Is it good to run normal technique when they get here or is there a special protocol?.

I worry because she does get hit on a lot and is rarely in LA where i'm sure she has a bunch of amogs and douche's in her phone book.

I would recommend game as usual. I have a couple of girls who come see my from out of town occasionally and the biggest lesson I learned is DO NOT INVITE THEM TO STAY WITH YOU!!! Recommend some good hotels and plan dates for when they are around. I hate when I get stuck hanging with a chick for a few days straight... it's awful and boring no matter what.

My best experience wast with a girl I knew from a long time ago. When we went out I would basically open every single interesting set I saw. I only started introducing her after I got some serious IOI. My best negging was done in the intros. I would says things like "This is ____. She joins us from New Hampshire where she owns a trash collection company... she already knows about the smell so don't bother mentioning it." After a couple nights like that my social proof was so good with her that she said "My hotel room is pretty uncomfortable can I just hang at your house tonight?" I said "Sure, the guest bed is only a twin though. Is that okay with you?

that's my 2 cents anyway... now give me a good opener!

Ok, so I should specify my openers our great for clubs, but can also work during day game or wherever there's music. I try to always do something a little silly and different. I'm from LA where the girls our approached countless time with the same stupid pickups by model dudes and c class actors so you gotta stand out. This is my go to line and has opened 100 percent of the time if done right and gotten me into 90 percent k closes. It really is just an opener.

I'm going to play both ways this has gone and how i progress. If there's a song on (99.9) times there will be a song on at a club :p. You walk up and say very genuinely.

VV : (Hinting at song playing) I wrote this song what do you think?
HB : Uhh, i hate it. It's the worst.
VV: Damnit! I knew we should of taken down the _______(notice anything in the song) . What else is wrong with it?
HB: Blah blah (stuff that isn't funny)

Whatever she calls out, you kind of stop your playful demeanor and go

VV : Yikes, that was my part. Real Nice. You know, i came over here to ask you if you wanted to meet the artist of the song, but now this is just a thing and now you're making me rethink my career, i think it's only fair if you by me a drink

By this time if she isn't completely brain dead, she should know you are playing around and be intrigued. Even if she hasn't given you much back, it should be easy to transition into mid game.

I'll now run the same game with a girl who plays a long. (This one really happened.)

VV : (Hinting at song playing) I wrote this song what do you think?
HB : I like it, I actually played the bass on it.
VV : I knew I recognized you! Jimmy on drums has been asking about you ever since we left the studio.
Hb: (Playing along)

Then you can transition out into anything else.

The key is to just show your funny, and not assaulting her with the same game. Let me know how this goes!!

Haha great minds must think alike!!!! Whenever there is a song playing no matter whether I am trying to pick up or not I almost always say "I wrote this... most people don't realize it's about me and my dad... going fishing." I don't know why I started saying that but it always opens people up. I like all the follow up and it's getting added.

haha awesome dude! it is a great line. I did a variation at Teddy's nightclub. I was standing next to some HB and I looked up to some stupid faux egyptian column they had up and went.

Just like with the song line, they have no idea how to take it and will usually go into something similar to what i had said before.
