Alright so she texts me tonight. "Kinda wish you were here right now. I'm pretty scared" (there is a cyclone warning at the moment). My reply "Well I guess I could make an appearance. Provided you have coffee and marshmellows". Her reply "Haha those little mini ones, indeed I do actually... Nah I wouldn't want you to drive in the weather." Half way through me writting my reply she pulls back and says " Ah gotta man up and go to bed! Lol good night Sleep sweet! "

I was like wow... that was a quick retreat...

Provided though she has a boyfriend.

It looks like you failed a sh*t test Pholliday, BUT your response wasn't THAT bad.
I would have said something like...

"cook me up a steak and serve it with a ice cold beer, I might be tempted to put my shoes on" or "you are on your own love, find something sturdy and hold on for dear life".

I once had a girl text me a similar message. Their was a tornado warning in our area and the sky was pitch black (it was the middle of the afternoon). She texted me because she was scared. I responded with "the world is coming to an end, run for your life!" I still laugh when I think about it.

Ah I had thought so, and update is at this point looking good. She invited me to catch up tomorrow so it doesn't look so bad.
