I have been checking out a HB8 bar tender in a club for the past few times I've gone. So last Friday when me and a few mates were in there i decided to chat her up whilst getting a drink, it went well and she even ignored some lads so she could still talk to me.
I let her serve the guys then went onto ask what type of guys she goes for, she named different qualities and then finished with "most importantly they've gotta be hot!" (she said this with a cheeky smile). So waved my hand over my face (as to say what do you think) and she said yeah your hot, so I asked for her number.

BUT as she's gonna give it to me another guy comes over (didn't strike me as anyone with game) saying can you give me your number again because i forgot it. Once he left I was like "give your number out alot then hey!" (with a cheeky smile) she replies:" I get asked out alot, I say my number really quickly so they cant take it down or give them the wrong number". I made some other little comment and exchanged numbers.

At this point I left the bar area as I got what I wanted and didnt want to seem wierd. When me and my mates left I smiled an nodded and she reciprocated.

I went to bed and was woken up to a text off her saying: "the name you put in my phone cant be your real name!!! xxx"

(my surname normally gets alot of attention because its quite unique)

So i texted back: "haha such a rude girl hey! It;s real! or i hope so :p"

to which she replied: "lol xxxx"

I left in for the night and then text her the next day saying sorry if i acted a tool and asked if she was working again that night. To which she said she was an said i didn't act like an ass.

So I decided to go out again that night as quite alot of mates were out. By chance I didn't end up at that club but thought Id give her a text at 4am.

I said: "hey good night serving! do you ever have time off?x" to which i didnt get a response.

I decided to leave it as i couldn't be bothered but now want to pick it back up! I need some ideas how to re engage her.

Oh yeah and from an outside perspective did she seem into me and would you have improved how I handled the situation?

I thought everything was going well, but i think around the point u kinda tripped up was the day after...
why did you "apologize for acting like a tool"? To me, from the approach and on, you have to be thinking like a PUA vs. an AFC. Would a PUA ever say "sorry for not texting you back"? comes off as kinda eager/needy/desperate sounding to me, and just try to remember that every time you show that you're interested, your value in her eyes goes down. Its hard, but especially in the text game ive found that you really have to control your eagerness and IOIs.

I would say the best way to continue this would be to see her in person again, preferably on a night when it isnt busy where she works

Ok here is my advice. Insead of asking for her number you could have said something like " Its been nice chating with you but I have to run, would you like to exchange numbers?" Or even " Hey what is your schedule like next week, would you like to grab a drink?" By asking for her number, you are putting the ball in her court.
Also, I don't think you should of apologized to her. Wait for her to text you and then ignore her and 3 days later respond like you just got the text. You need to appeear different than the other guys that are interested in her.
