So I went out on my first official sarge last night, I'll break it down for you:

Bar 1

Social for the society i'm in at uni: 3/10

There were only about 20 people in this room divided into 3 groups, I didn't know anyone but joined the middle group of men. The groups either side were mostly women. Unfortunately I didn't have any material for such a low key situation and the general vibe was not very pick up friendly. So here I just warmed up my conversation skills and met a potential drummer for my band (yay).

Bar 2

Alternative club: 8/10

So by this point I was fairly drunk, I'm sure it's best not to be drunk when attempting to sarge but hey I was hanging with my friends as well. Luckily I had a wing-woman who opened a set (HB7 + HB6) which I was introduced to.

I went straight into teasing the HB7 about the false glasses she was wearing then took them off her and put them on, asking her how I looked. We had fun with this for a bit and then I accidentally fell into small talk. Not intending to fail and spurred on by much red wine (I'm a classy guy) I took her hands and just went for the KC. HAH it worked, first girl i've ever picked up in a club (the fat goth chick last week doesn't count, she raped me.)

Anyway she liked my hair for some reason (my hair honestly makes no sense), and after exchanging phone numbers the bar closed. I mention the hair because I got a text from her a few minutes later saying 'night night lovely hair boy x'. In my state of inebriation I responded with 'I should take you to specsavers, night'.

So now it's day 2 and although she didn't spark some humungous interest in me I feel like I should see how far I can take it. Do I mention the glasses in a playful way or is that focusing too much on one thing? I didn't manage to build up enough callback humor so kind of stuck for ideas.
