Hey all.
Need a bit of help on this one. Sorry a bit long.... but would dig for someone to solve this
So I went to a friend's bday party the other day and as I was about to leave she caught me off guard and said she wanted to introduce me to this girl. I could only chat to her for a minute or 2 and had to leave. She def looked like my type of girl. HB9
I then bumped into my friend by luck the next day and she just gave me this girl's number out of the blue and told me to use it. So I waited 3-4 days and smsd her to which I received a positive response and set up a date 3 days from then (Mon evening, not giving her a weekend date). All good so far..... On the day thou, she cancelled and counter-offered with wed evening to which I accepted at first and responded with a time, she then responded with, "I have test, I should be done by then, I'll let you know". First red flag right there.... don't want to be caught waiting!! I replied telling her my schedule was actually too busy and wouldn't make wed but that we'll chat soon to which see replied "OK, let's chat soon
".
I realised that I don't have much rapport & attraction built with her from my initial 2 minute convo ... Am about to flush this girl's number but then I hear via my friend again that she's bummed I cancelled after she cancelled and looking forward to meeting up the following week. So I waited 7 days and smsd her that monday again. It was going well, She wanted to know whether I was going to the upcoming party to which I am going to, to which she ended with, "You're going to have to show me around:) see u then!"
But in an attempt to build some rapport b4 (As it's a massive party the whole weekend with thousands of people & i doubt I'll bump into her) I decided to rather try set up a quick lunch date during a break time on campus the next day (Tues) & not have to worry about seeing her at the party (Cause would rather jam with my mates on the weekends). She liked the idea but claimed she was too busy for that the next day and claimed she would sms me either on wed or thurs for it. Another red flag here!! To which I made up some excuse that I wouldn't be on campus either of those two days & ended politely with a joke & "Have a good week
" (def not being caught waiting).
Now In my mind, I've already flushed this number & going for others. But need some extra brain power to figure out what I should have done for next time this happens. I would've thrown the number away after the broken date but her friend spurred me on so thought I would give it a shot.......
What do you guys reckon? I'm def not contacting her again nor looking for her at the party. Think she'll try contact me sometime out of curiosity? Haha, thanks for reading this.
