Normally you'd just drop by a girl to see her again. Or you'd text her, setting up a day 2 which doesn't require too much dedication since you both live in the neighborhood. And if you'd want a relationship, you just keep in touch daily and see each other 2-3 times a week until she decides she wants exclusivity.

Now things are sometimes a little bit more difficult. For instance, when me and my lovely brunette live quite a distance apart, and a day2 would need lots of commitment from both our parts. The attraction is there, the commitment isn't yet. But how do I get her here?

The PUA in me told me this: Time for text game! Text her a couple of times, use push/pull, but let her know that she's not the world to you. Build even more attraction by acting as if she can't get you, and build some comfort on MSN.

So I asked two female friends of mine, both experts on LTRs, both pretty much same type as my brunette, and they both told me that that wasn't the way to go. Instead, I should text her regularly until you like each other so much that distance isn't a factor anymore.
Of course this is a girl's opinion. Girls don't get it from a men's side of view. But perhaps there is a element of truth in their words: Maybe much texting is better, displaying some interest, but not too much. But still.. will it be enough, with this shy, innocent girl who isn't that much into boys?
Anyone got some sensible remarks on this?
