Wonder if anyone can help me out, im in high school, and recently been flirting with this girl in my class. Anyway, we are going to a party together and meeting up for drinks before hand. She's just text me telling me she cant do drinks and will meet me at the party.

I know it isn't her fault, but i think i should do some cocky/funny line just to let her know that wasnt cool. Somthing like, "Consistency, that's attractive "

What does everyone think?

This will work the best if you've been consistently cockyfunny with her:

"You know what the most amazing opportunity that you missed in your life was?"
A: drinks with me.. bla bla. She says some stuff you just smile/grin.

"You know what's the meanest thing you've ever done?"
A: Turned me down for drinks.. again, she says stuff to may be cover it up.. you smile/grin and simply cut her off as though it wasn't that big a deal.

I like how you don't really aim at making it even a lightly serious issue as it would make you look desperate. Register it in her mind but only as a joke
