Quick background. I have no issues with initial stuff, but second dates and on I have trouble maintaining the attraction. Also, I'm in this for more meaningful relationships, not just one night stands.

Current situation: Randomly met a girl, got her number, took her out and we had a great time...I can tell she's one I would be genuinely interested in. She threw out how she loves motorcycles, and I said I'd never take someone like her for a ride...which of course got her all excited about it...so I let her convince me to take her.

However when the day came, she called and left a message that she couldn't make it and to "...have a good rest of the week." I waited a few hours, then called to do a simple re-schedule. She didn't answer, so I left a non-threatening message mentioning it was no big deal she couldn't go, we'll have to reschedule some other time...but did mention to "get back to me when you can."

Its been way too long for her to get back to me, and I'm fighting the urge to make some sort of contact with her. So I want some tips on how to handle this. I don't want to come off as a desperate chump (which I'm not) by calling her too much, but also don't want to just leave it alone if it requires a bit of targeted effort to rekindle the situation.
