Hey guys, I tried to looking for an answer in other threads but didn't see what i am looking for. i'd greatly appreciate your thoughts. so here is the deal:

i met a waitress at a bar 2 weeks ago. we chatted a little (regular routines) and then i left. i went back to that bar last week and didn't talk to her, but with a corner of my eye i saw that she noticed me opening a lot of sets and talking to a bunch of people (i think seemed like a DHV). Yesterday I was there again, and ran into to her around 12:00am. She gave me a hug, said she is almost done and if i want to go out in a little bit. i said sure, got her number. then 30 minutes later when i saw her again she said that she has to stay at work longer and will not be going out.

that the story. so what do i do now? do i call her (based on what i've read about phone game) or do i not do anything until i see her at the bar 2-3 weeks from now?

Well since no one else is stepping up to bat, I guess I'll take a swing. In pick-up, the phone is under prison rules. You've got one call, so make it count. Call her, and when you do, get your "hellos" out of the way, and get a FTC (false time constraint) out there to prevent your conversation from fizzling and getting boring, which is no fun for you, and a DLV to her. With the FTC in place, talk to her for a few minutes, but keep the conversation interesting, and if you feel it start to wane, activate that FTC and say you have to go, but say that the two of you need to get together sometime. If she is sufficiently interested in you, she'll tell you when shes free. If not, give her TWO days and times when you will be free, and make one a little iffy (I should be free tomorrow and MAYBE Wednesday, either of those work for you?) If you've done your work correctly, you should have a date, but don't squander it taking her to dinner and a movie, or out for coffee, take her somewhere fun, and original. Heres hoping things work out for you (which I know they will).
