I had a quick question I was hoping someone could help with.

To make this short and to the point...
I met this girl Wednesday very briefly and got her number. We were both really busy with work the rest of the week but through texting we decided to meet up for dinner last night. I texted her yesterday morning to confirm and she tesxted me right back. After dinner last night, I texted her about two hours later and once again she texted right back and we continued to go back and forrth texting for a good 30 minutes... Today I waited until noon and she hadn't texted me, so once again I texted her and she quickly responded...

I guess my question is should I now wait until she texts me instead of me seeming to always be the first one to contact her? Or any tips on what to do next?

She's responding to your texts very quickly which is an IOI. But I think you need to step it up now, call her. Don'y text what you could say on a call. If you're not sure about whether she'll be available to talk, then send her a message prior along the lines of

Hey you sexy little thing, I'm going to give you a call in a bit, so get yourself feeling flirty, sexy, relaxed and tell me three interesting things about yourself/your day

If she sends you a message or calls you without you prompting her to do so that's another IOI. Don't text too much though, leave her wanting more. Give her the gift of missing you (love David D and his work).

I don't think its bad, to be the first one texting. By the sounds of it she's shy and is probably waiting for you to text her. In my experience eventually she will be the one initiating text convos. Normally it happens after the first kiss. I agree with the guy above me. Call her next time, she might think your hiding behind text messages. Make plans with her and you pretty much have to kiss her this time.
