She declines second date help

So, I told her (not asked her) to go out wednesday nite for our second date.... she declined but for the reason it was her best friends birthday and already promised her that she would go. Then she followed by saying "you should come with :) "

Do I accept or decline? Reasons?

That exact same thing happened to me once. I went with her and got to know her friends a little bit. She felt a lot more comfortable with me after she saw I could mingle with here friends and fit in. Then we left early and went somewhere else. It was one of the better dates I've had. But you have to be very sociable with her friends and she might start seeing you as a potential boyfriend after this, if you can deal with these two factors I suggest you go. Otherwise, if you're not ready for the pressure, say no.
