About a week ago, I was on my lunch break at work, talking about enemies. This woman (lets call her Megan) chimed in and said "Who's your enemy?"

I told her "I won't go into detail, but it turned into a police matter"(Which it actually did).

Anyway, I forgot her name this week and asked what it was, and I realized "Oh yeah, we were talking about enemies", and she asked how that was going. I told her it's still going. I also told her I appreciate her listening, and "women are better listeners than men". She said any time. I invited her out for coffee, and she said "Yeah, maybe."

That was last night. Tonight, I only exchanged glances with her, and an hour before work was over, I told her "I don't want you to get the wrong idea". She asked what about. I said "When I invited you out last night, that wasn't a date. I just need someone to talk to, you know, a friend."

She said yeah, anytime. I said "Well great. Now, I only have an hour, but can you do coffee on Saturday?"

she told me she's going away Saturday, but "We'll find another time". Later on, she seeked me out at work and said "I'm actually not going away til Monday, so Saturday would work for me".

at that, we exchanged numbers. What do you think?
