Probably should not have separated from this girl without my hat but she was giving me a lot of indications of interest and responding favorably to my physical escalating.... then the bouncer came around telling my friend I had to go. They're pricks around here because it's a college town and they have lots of demand, I'd been tail-gating all day but was about sober at this point of the night. I didn't argue and told her I'd see in later.

Anyway she was wearing my hat and she definitely knew it, a nice hat probably only $20 in value but it was a gift and I kind of miss it.

I had given her my #, she texts me some afterwards about how she was sad to see me go and we should meet up later. Well... a couple hi's the next two days and no responses since the initial brief texting that night. Some folks talk about persistence but i have trouble finding a balance without coming across as needy.

It's been a few days but she's an out-of-towner (I'm in college and she lives in my home county). Any way which I can use the loss of my hat to my advantage? I loath text game
