So lately everybody has a smartphone with the application: SPAM. I think most of you guys already know what it is but for the one's who don't: It's a free way of texting, just like facebook but on your phone and you can send messages by internet.

What do you guys prefer? SPAM or just "old fashion" texting?

I have both, but for some reason I find texting way more interesting than chatting on SPAM.
It's simply because when youre sending a text message you try to keep it short and interesting but on SPAM it's likely to have a whole conversations because it's free. But the negative side of this is that when youre meeting with the girl you just don't have enough to talk about because you used it chatting material in SPAM, and that kind off destroys conversations when your meeting up with her in real life.

What are you thought? Should I simply be "different" and not have SPAM like other guys have and just keep it the old fashioned way by texting?

Or you can seduce them on SPAM and then the meeting will be the bang. Just like a chatting device.

in my world SPAM is the same as texting except there's a "last seen at xx date/ yy time" status tracker on it.

i know what you mean though. it is best to stick to short flirty banter exchanges, usually meaningless and no actual information exchange, but its fun and spontaneous and leaves the real in depth conversation for real life meets. lead the exchange in that direction

however you need to be able to read her demeanor so as not to be constantly flirty etc when she's not in the mood. this is very difficult in text alone, i.e. no body language and next to no tone.

again this all comes back to text game like keeping msgs short n sweet and open ended, wait longer than she does to reply, etc. good luck

A few friends of my said it works "seducing" them on SPAM and afterwards just bang but I never thought it would work because simply you can't really express yourself through messages.

But maybe you're right, I do get some naked pictures of girls and YES I always compliment them on their astonishing body .

But for me it's more fun to do it in real life.

When I get a girls number, I always immediately add 'Thanks, do you've SPAM? [not waiting for an answer] Never mind, I'll text you anyways the old fashion.. Much more romantic isn't it? [smile]'

I've never had a girl disaggree so you can talk about 'the good old days' at High School when there only was texting and you tried to fit in as much characters as possible or scratch words so they would fit in 1 message.
It's a fun conversation with different stories every time.

I've got an example in which in was seeing a girl sometimes and meanwhile we had contact over FB.
But now that she's got SPAM things don't work out very well, not as before.

Well the thing really is that, with stuff such as MSN and video game chatboxes, you had the extended attention of the person for a longer amount of time. But now . . . With SPAM, their attention is all over the place and they are in 390 conversations, 4 youtube movies and reading an article at the same time. Whatever interaction you have gets totally shredded to begin with . . .
