I'm very new to text game but have some decent PUA skills. Here is the first conversation between me and a girl that I lives far away (I'll be visiting in July) and I haven't seen for a long time. Our only communication has been brief IG and FB posts/comments.

**After messaging on Facebook about my visit, getting her number, and her not getting my original text (and telling me that she hadn't on FB)**

Me: Hey G***, let me know if this is your number and I'll send you the info. about my trip. p.s. Fuck David Stern (we are both from Seattle and love our Supersonics)

Me: Hey, I'll be in town ____________. I don't know when I'll have shows (I'm a stand-up comedian) or be free so clear your schedule so we can get hyphy (is that still a thing?)

I was thinking my next text would be "Hey Teach, what's today's lesson?". If you have other ideas, let me know or if you have thoughts on how long to wait to send that text, let me know.

I love this idea but that's two months away and I have a couple concerns:
1. That it will be difficult to not communicate/interact with her on social media.
2. I'm going to hang and play golf with her dad the week before I visit her so I feel like there will be communication.
3. I think she might be seeing a guy which I guess prob won't change whether I talk to her now or wait.

What if she initiates text/messaging with me?

If she messages you, respond. But don't start "conversations" via text. Send her funny shit every so often if she doesn't... just so you stay on her mind. But if you have attraction, don't fuck it up by saying something stupid... which is VERY easy to do via text.

Thanks man. Well, she called me twice at 12:50am last night and I didn't answer either. Now I'm trying to decide how/if I should respond and when - I was thinking it might have been a drunk dial. I considered texting "was that a sober dial, drunk dial, or butt dial?"
