Basically my story is that myself, hb8 and a few other girls are hanging out at one of the girls houses watching basketball and screwing around. All of them go to my school. So the entire evening, I kino and tease the living daylights out of hb8, she is smiling and laughing the entire night. While the other girls are making food, me and hb8 cuddle and watch part of a movie. We then walked one of the girls home and myself and hb8 walked ahead and talked alone for a solid 20 minutes. I walked her home after that, and as she says good night, I had this conversation.

Me - "Hey, I don't know if you've noticed, but you're really cute and I like you. I was wondering if you felt the same way"

Her - "Yeah I did notice... (pause) I have some complicated stuff going on at home" (shes an exchange student)

Me - "All I know is that's there and we're here"

Her - "I'm sorry, I don't like you like that."

Me - (smile, save face) "Good night"

and then I left. So many IOIs and then shot down. I know it has something to do with how I tried to close it because this same thin happened 2 weeks ago. Advice much appreciated.

That was really AFC indeed, you pushed it way too fast and early. Take a few staps back and act like nothing happened, when you are in a similar situation with her, turn the cards by saying " we could better be friends", but keep teasing her.

Ive been in a same situation recently. Mate, trust me, find a new girl get over it. The situation is not worth you and i know it can be frustrating.

The problem was your timing. We need to show our feelings from time to time, nothing wrong with that(you are not AFC because of that). The only thing you need to remember is the correct order(if you fuck it up, you end up as AFC).

That means next time, be alpha, seal the deal(get sex with her), then show your feelings. When you have sex with a woman, she will bind to you in another way, compared to if you just flirt with her. Everything else will screw it up.
