Met HB8 at a school reunion party+ktv and I got her namecard. We had a good chat and even positive interactions as we joked about the guy who was hogging the microphone. We signaled across rooms and stuff so I'm sure there was really good IOIs coming from her. Plus she kept sneaking glances at me.
After that night, I texted her number on the namecard signing off with my name and I commenced text game. Went like this:
PUA: Hey! "PUA" here. Nice meeting ya yesterday night. Keep in touch!
HB8: Yeah! Its really nice to meet you yesterday! Let's stay in touch and maybe hang out sometime!
PUA: Right. Looking forward to that bakery
HB8: Thanks will tell you when it's open
PUA: Awesome. My friends say im a food connoisseur so your cakes gotta be special!
HB8: Oh my that's cool! You should give me suggestions in food or wine!
PUA: Definitely - as long as you dress up to the occasion!
HB8: That's a good point!
I didnt reply after that as I wanted to end off on a high note. The next day about the same time, I texted her again:
PUA: How adventurous do you think you are?
HB8: Pretty much
U?
PUA: In ways you cant imagine...you cant possibly match up to me
HB8: I am interested to listen to your adventurous stories!
PUA: No. Underaged girls not allowed. Bribe me and I'll pretend u're older
HB8: Haha you are so funny. I'll buy you a drink and then let u tell
PUA: That sounds like u're asking me out. Or are you?
HB8: Yeah guess I am...
PUA: Cool. I'll call you sometime and let you know when you can take me out
(I waited for a long time before replying to let the tension build)
HB8: Deal. You gotta prepare five stories!
Same thing, I let it end here. Now I've got her interest, I've decided to bring it a bit further and transition to the phone game. This is, however, where things start to go to shit:
PUA: Hey, I was just thinking about you
HB8: Oh good about what?
- Long interval - wanted to let the tension build.
PUA: I'll give ya a call after my investor meeting
HB8: Cool
3 hours later I gave her a call (during office hours) and I kinda flipped back into the AFC mode. Started asking her how are you, are you in office and all that shit. I suggested Saturday to meet up but she said she has another class reunion (different sch this time) and she blurted out that she is free tonight. But I didnt want to sound too needy so I diverted the topic and we discussed about her school, studies and all that boring topics. She also asked me about my job. I felt the energy level go down and so I initiated to end the phone convo.
So here's what happened on text after that:
PUA: How about we sponstaneously meet up, say 7pm XXX later?
HB8: Sorry I'm meeting up my sister tonight (Suddenly sister???) We are eating dinner soon and then going to "XXX Some high class bar" having a drink. U r free to join us for a drink lol
PUA: Unfortunately, I'm in the middle of a transaction so weekday drinking sessions won't work. But enjoy!
HB8: Okay...Let's meet next time! Weekend or so
PUA: Mm...Friday I have a prior engagement with someone else and Saturday is out for you...tricky!
HB8: Let's arrange Saturday meeting then
PUA: Right I finally got rid of my boss for the day...Saturday after lunch would be awesome
HB8: I wont be free until dinner time on Saturday... I'ts gonna be a big reunion and in the afternoon we have a talk or forum
PUA: Cool. However, after all the serious stuff in the afternoon, are you sure you will be fun at night?
- After like 5 hours she finally replies-
HB8: It'll be fun after your adventurous stories lol
I didnt reply after that because it's late.
>>Any ideas how to proceed from here? I think she has a good level of IOIs, but perhaps I qualified her too much, and the energy level is back down. Do I reply the next day? Or should I just give her a call on Friday to tell her the location for Saturday's meeting? I want to move to the comfort phase before meeting up, preferably via phone, but my phone game is weak and I cant seem to get her in the correct timing. Need a second opinion on this.
