so this one has been nagging me for some time.

basically how often should you contact (phone call/message) a girl? starting from the day of the number close to the day 2?

for example, i # close on a monday and want to take the girl out on a sunday but that leaves a considerable amount of space that i feel needs to be filled in some way or another (i might be wrong though)

so, any rough guidelines? should i call everyday or leave some gap days?
also if i call should i keep it fun and simple or make a longer call and build rapport and comfort?
one thing i need to add is that i found that i get more positive reactions if i text her a few times in the same day i get the # close, so i'm not into the "1,2,3" day rule where you call a girl several days after the # close

Each individual girl is different and it is something you have to get a feel for. Texting is a much more convenient way to stay in contact b/c the person doesn't have to answer right away and it doesn't take as much time to do.For me, I hate answering the phone and talking b/c for one, you never know exactly how long someone wants to talk or what they want to talk about. A lot of girls feel that way too. I do answer some, but about half the time anyone calls me, I don't answer. I might text later.

I would venture to say the vast majority of women do enjoy texting in some capacity. The pitfall where too many guys fail at it is getting too excited and texting too much and always responding too fast. Or, just texting crazy creepy stuff in an effort to try to be funny or be alpha. Or, panicking b/c she isn't texting back as frequently as you think she should and asking why. A lot of girls will disqualify you if they don't like how you are texting. So if I got the number Monday and wanted to go out 6 days later, I would try to figure out how much texting she's comfortable with. I wanna text enough to get her as comfortable with my personality as possible but I don't want to text too much and seem like she is the only thing I have going on. A lot of women also like to text at work if their job has some down time and most their jobs do. They may even text with someone they don't care about fucking just to pass the time. Some women it may bore them to text you twice per day, others will text you 150 times per day if you let them. A general rule I have is to start with 2 or 3 texts per day, skip a day if they ignore a text, and graduate up over time to more.

So what I would do if I got the number monday but wanted a date sunday would be send that first text about something in the initial conversation. Generally, if they are interested in you prior to giving the number they will offer some bit of info they like talking about that you can text about. Depending on how fast she responds and if she chats after receiving your text and your response you will get an idea if she's one who likes to text . I could write a book on how to text and I won't do that here but there are some books out there. In your 6 day waiting period I don't think you should leave gaps of days unless she appears to be a non-texting type. And I would mix in at least one call but that would be after some texting or an ignored first text maybe a day or 2 later.
