Alright, met this girl the other night. Showing lots of interest, wore my watch for a while, even seemed kinda nervous. Anyways, I was at work and didn't get her number, but we have a mutual friend on fb so I added her. What do I say now to turn it into a date?

First do something to test her interest, like make fun of one of her photos and see how she responds. if she seems to continue the conversation then eventually you can:

try to figure out what she might be into. Then maybe tell her you are thinking of doing it and would she like to join? for example, if she seems like a hippy girl you could suggest a hippy bar. or going to the park to throw frisbee. Or best, invite her to a party if you know of one. Or ask her what she likes to do for fun. make her come up with something fun for you to join her. (though some people might disagree with this approach).

many people would also say spending too much time on FB or texting is AFC. so make sure that if you are spending much time there you are not acting needy, begging her to hang out. you could even poke fun of her relentlessly and then act like you don't want to see her.

Or you could go the opposite way and tell her you want a serious date pronto.

but don't get stuck just hovering for weeks unless she is doing most of the talking and qualifying herself to you. Also, you may want to friend zone her and use her as a pivot. Try to meet her friends...
