Hi brothers !

This forum has been amazing and I am like really helpful to everyone because this is like the only place where people seem to genuinely take an interest in improving others lives...

Well at the risk of boring everyone let me get straight to the point. I got introduced to this French chick from another friend through FB. My friend told me that this chick is really kind of lonely (Since she has just moved to the city I live in). Also I am an Indian in India and she is a foreigner here so you know how it can get lonely without any friends around. Anyways so I started texting her on FB and fixed up a meeting with her and some of my other friends (mixed group just to make her comfortable). Things went fine and I fixed up a date with her again. This time it was just me and her so it looked like she was kinda comfortable with me and we had a good time. Infact she was even ready to give a bisou (peck on the cheek greet as in France) though it is not common to say good bye like this here in India.

Well things looked pretty good for the next few days with me texting her back and forth just the usual stuff. She kept telling me how she would really like to party and stuff and finally I got her back home with some of my other friends to party. Only problem was she had eaten something bad I guess and was feeling feverish so I let her sleep and slept in another room with my friends. When I woke up she was really sick and was vomiting all over. I made sure I was a gentleman and gave her medicines etc. and dropped her back home.

This probably made her really comfortable and she kept calling me and telling how her day went etc. on phone almost everyday for like 3 days after which we had another meeting with one of her school friends whom she was meeting after 5 years. Everything went well and I had decided that this was the night to kiss close her since I did not want to let it fall into the friend zone !

The day when I chickened out.....

Basically we dropped by at a friends place yesterday night and had a few drinks and talked in general. It went on till late night around 2am and it was time to drop her back home. I drove to her place stopped the car and looked her in the eyes to see if there is any interest or if she was just going to give me another peck on the cheek kind of kiss to say goodbye. (There was nothing to give me any clue which put me off and I just pecked her on the cheek.) Kindly note that I have never really kiss closed ever so I was kinda nervous and did not know what to do now. I just pecked her on the cheek and as she was getting out of the car I mentioned that everytime I drop her I kind of expected something different. Not sure if she really heard me but she kind of asked me what I was saying and I blurted the same thing again and she was kinda confused so I just said its nothing and started driving back. She even yelled out that I should drive carefully since we had had a few drinks.

This made me feel really shitty and I just did not want to go on with this confusion anymore so I texted her this as soon as I reached back home "Everytime I drop you I want to kiss you... but I am stupid and can't make out if you want to kiss me too!! But I can understand if you have a boyfriend... good night !"

After sometime I got this as her reply " Thank you for telling me the truth. I do not have a boyfriend but I still love my ex boyfriend. It's very compicated. I don't want to be in a relationship. But I dont want to hurt you because I'm very happy to have met someone like you here !!" I did not reply back and then after about another 30 mins got her messaging me again with this " I am sorry I dont want to hurt you. good night"

In the morning she again texted me back with pics of what she had cooked for breakfast and stuff... I replied back normally and did not really bring up previous night's fiasco..

Anyways im probably meeting her again this weekend and am really confused what I chould be doing. I am obviously still interested in getting all the way with her but I am just not sure if there is a good strategy for this or if this is too much and if I should just accept my mistakes and move on and leave her as a good friend
