First of all, I would just like to start by thanking this community, as if it had not been for all of those who have given me advice on my sticking points and generally giving me confidence to talk to girls, I would not have lost my virginity last night and neither would I have a potential girlfriend. As for my question, I just got back from hers and want to ask her out for a meal so we can chat and get to know each other (I already told her I would take her for a nice meal somewhere, jokingly saying its going to be macdonalds or KFC)
and I was wondering how long should I leave it before texting and how should I start the text?

I was thinking on texting her tomorrow morning along the lines of "Hey still interested in that meal?" then if she texts back arranging it then at the end jokingly going "great this one is on you Ill get next one"

Advice?

Dude just text or call saying being funny like a pirate lets say "TODAY WE SHALL EAT FINE FOOD AND DRINK FINE BEVARAGES WID RUM AT THE LOCAL KFC TAVARN ME LAD NOW JOLLY UP ME BOAT WHILE I PICK U UP AT 8 O'CLOCK"
