We've maybe hung out twice previously and she offers to make dinner at her apartment before we go to the party.
At the party itself, everything went fine, I made good conversation, confidently started conversations with a bunch of her coworkers, she danced with me, she even taught me the beginnings of how to salsa dance (she used to be a professional ballet dancer) although I'm not getting any overt signals of sexual interest.
It was late when we got back to her apartment and we had both had at least two glasses of wine so we agreed that I should spend the night here. She gave me the option of sleeping on the not-so-comfortable love seat in her living room, or to share her much more comfortable queen-size bed. Since I was too tall to fit on the love seat without becoming a contortionist, I opted for the latter, but not before she says that I should be aware that, "there are boundaries". I didn't bring any clothes to sleep in so i just kept on the clothes that I was wearing and I made sure to give her plenty of space so she wouldn't feel uncomfortable. As I'm falling asleep, she asks me "are you really that shy or are you just trying to be polite?" I assumed, referring to the clothes I was still wearing. I told her I was trying to respect her "boundaries." So we went to sleep and that was it.
Was she genuinely not interested or was she just playing hard to get? I'd like to get some opinions on it.
