I have been friends with my landlord's daughter (HB6) for a few months now. Plenty of harmless flirting both ways, but I resist/deny any k close opportunities because I only want to be friends. Don't shit where you eat, so to speak. Now last night she brings her friend K (HB8) to my group's evening out. I had met K a couple times before, but this time we hit it off. Now I'm a bit rusty anyways due to a recent relationship, but the obstacle here is with my friend's obvious crush on me. Should I approach this any differently?


Also, since I made the topic, I'd appreciate any criticism on my texting:

Me: my pleasure added ya on facebook
K: Thanks. Tonight was fun.
Me: Sure was you're pretty cool
K (after 20 min) : haha, same to you good sir. And your obviously better than me at pool... but then again... that's really not a hard feat.
Me (next morning) : Hey now you're not too bad yourself, guess we'll have to play more til you can beat me
Her (2 hrs later): sounds like a good deal. =)
Me (6 hrs later): So when you gonna be ready for a rematch?

I really debated the last text, felt kind of desperate - I didn't already have plans tonight to invite her to like last night, and I wanted to see her level of interest/possibilities to isolate. An hour later, still no response... though I have another friend (FB) on her way down now so I can use that to my advantage if/when she texts back at least.
