There’s a girl I met in class this term (we started talking in January) and we’ve hung out a few times on campus. ( having lunch etc.)
Last weekend we went to a concert together (of a band we both liked), had an amazing time. I made some good progress, went from “just-friends-from-class” type of thing to holding each other whilst walking around downtown by the end of the night.
We made plans to hang out again ‘soon’ and I sort of mentioned another upcoming concert and suggested we both go to it. She genuinely seemed interested in hanging out again, even texted me later that night saying we should ‘deff do it again sometime.’
Anyways, I texted her earlier this week asking if she wanted to do something this weekend, turns out she’s not in town, totally fine (she seemed sorry she couldn’t come out, but it was a family vacation thing which she apparently found out about last minute).
My question is: When she comes back (mid next week) should I ask her AGAIN to hang out THAT weekend? I presume that would sound kind of desperate like the nagging guy always asking to hang out lol, but at the same time this girl does not really take the initiative (even when we had class together she almost never started a conversation with me, always waited for me to say something, I don’t mind taking the lead but as you can tell from this situation I’m kind of confused lol).
Any tips on how to bring this up or if I should even mention it? Its not a huge deal for us to go out next weekend because we have a class together in Summer semester anyways so I know I’ll be seeing her again (in about a week and a half) regardless but I’d rather escalate our relationship in an out-of-school environment. I wouldn’t be surprised if she did come back and ask me to hang out, but I just want to know what the fellow puas think =D
