I met a girl a few weeks ago, but logistics etc meant that I couldn't get her number. However, having chatted on FB, she texted a really basic "Hi, here's my number" message.

What should my first reply to her be? I don't want it to just be "Hey! How are you" type stuff. Boring!

Any tips would be great! Thanks fellas!

(p.s. She's just moved to the same town as me, and seemed motivated to meet up, especially as I said I'd help her to improve her French if she wanted. Neg her about that perhaps??)

It's a good idea to refer back to something you were previously talking about, something fun... something funny you both share, inside jokes are great! It will get her back to the right mindset. If you have given her a nickname make sure you use that too.

She gave you a definite IOI, so I'm sure she's interested in meeting up. You can go ahead and suggest hanging out right away or wait a till some fun texting's been going on.

But NEVER EVER tease ppl who are just studying a foreign language that's just rude. Helping her improve could be fun though and it gives you chance to use kinos a lot.


I remember some years ago a girl emailed me like "hey, long time no see, here is my number... we could have a beer sometime". We met at a bar and I fucked her in a toilet cabin there... those girls and their messages

Just to clarify : I wasn't suggesting teasing the girl in a rude or nasty way. She & I both live in France. Neither of us are French, but I've been living here a long time & speak the language fluently, whereas she's only just moved from Sweden, so I'm not too sure how good her French is! Presumably average at best from what she was saying, although I may be wrong in that assumption...

No real nicknames/ inside jokes etc have taken place yet, so any more advice would be gratefully received!

Text her back in french. Either she understands it and see it as something special or she askes about it. then you can reply; "we'll really need to get those frenchlessons going". Either way its a win-win.
