To summarize really quickly...met this girl on NYE after she broke it off with her BF of 2+ years. Apparently they broke it off because he's moving out of the country for Med school, and I'm not sure if there were any other issues because I didn't really want to ask. Her and I have been talking about a month now, hung out 3 or 4 times, and she texted me constantly up until this past week or so. She still texts me but it's not the same. In her defense, she says she's really sick (which I believe), but she's still been withdrawn, definitely not as flirty and doesn't talk about wanting to hang out like she used to. I also hate to admit this, but her news feed on Facebook showed her "liking" an old pic of her and her ex late last night. Stupid fucking Facebook and stupid me for even checking shit like that.

My question: Even if I'm totally wrong, let's just say she was talking to her ex again. How would you guys handle the situation? I actually like this chick, but I've had enough bad experiences with being the rebound guy that I absolutely refuse to put anymore effort into something if she's wasting my time.

And FWIW, we already had the "talk" sort of. Basically it was her telling me she really likes me and me telling her "I like you, but I think we should take it easy and see what happens. I'm leaving for Canada for a few months and you just got out of a long term relationship". She seemed to really respect that, but it may or may not be important.
