Hello everyone.
Next week will oficially be the first time I actually invite a girl to "go out for drinks" .. I mean besides the normal scenario dates, this is a huge change for me, and in an attempt to slowly transition more into the night dating.
Here's my question: I've never been much of a drinker, I don't enjoy beer, although I enjoy scotch, and vodka, some other liquors, but I don't really have much experience.
What do you guys order at a bar? I was just thinking of going with a classic Scotch on the rocks, or with some mineral water. I don't want to lose my senses though, just to drink something.
I am sorry if this sounds kind of silly, I feel silly writing it. I hope someone can help me on this.

i see guys with their dates (the social guys whoa re there with their college buddies but they are post college aged) they just a glass of beer like a Guiness (but Guinness people say is not fresh anywhere outside of Ireland, so maybe get like a Stella or something?)

This is easy.

Order something you enjoy.

Resist the temptation to order some bullshit cocktail with six different exotic liquors to impress her, only to finish the drink an hour later and be a drunken sleaze (unless of course, you enjoy downing Long Island Iced Teas like shots and your best game comes when you're blind drunk).

At the bar ask her what she's drinking, then tell the bartender both of your orders.
When she ask's you whats in your drink let her guess (opportunity to neg and kino), then let her try it.

When its time for another drink, its her turn to buy.

Just get light beer. Avoid drinks with too much alcohol. You don't wanna get to sloppy, and if your driving, you wanna keep your date safe.

I was aiming something that wasn't beer really, I dislike the taste, although it is the one with the less alcoholic content.
I enjoy Scotch, I was thinking of just having 1 or 2 glasses, to be honest, a glass of stoch (alone) on the rocks lasts a while, since, well, its not water.
I might just go to a bar at a hotel, and if I get drunk, get a room there xD
