Saturday night I ended up at a local house party. I had been drinking quite a bit, and when I walked inside from the porch I noticed a deck of cards on the stove top and decided to give a card trick a try. I ran through a basic forcing trick and before I ended it went with
"I'll bet you the next card I turn over is your card"
Her - "What do you wanna bet?"
At this point her friend was walking by and chimed in with "A kiss on the lips"
She agreed and I proceeded to turn over her card and she actually was impressed.
I didn't think using a card trick would actually ever lead anywhere, but I woke up the next morning in her bed.
I found success with it.
