The way i try to get there attention through a sms is try to come up with a random fact from something i remember they have said or done.

For example i met a girl who's last name meant snail in another language and the first thing i messaged her with was a random fact i found about a snail and got a message straight back. It also shows that you were paying a bit of attention to her.

I'm a fan of the texting game too. One of my favorites is to start with what I call the pop artist comparison. "Justin Timberlake or Usher?" is my current set.

It's fun and goofy, and nearly EVERY girl will have some sort of opinion, which pretty much guarantees a response. And it's the perfect opportunity to play with her and get some flirty texts going back and forth.

Regardless of who she chooses, respond back with something like "uh-oh. that says a lot about you :)" Then interpret as you see fit.

Example:
Avenger: Timberlake or Usher?
HB: haha...what! I'd say Timberlake
A: Oh boy....you're trouble :)
HB: LOL why?
A: Only the naughty girls choose timberlake. i think it's cuz he's single. or they still love N'Sync.
HB: haha nooo....he's just cuter!
A: have it your way :)

The idea is to make texting fun, none of that lame "hey how R U?" Girls who give out their numbers get sick of the cautious AFC texts pretty quick.

This worked brilliantly yesterday. So my friend was talking about his friend who's pretty hot and how I can get "some"from her. So I said, "Why not?" Anyway, he gave me her number, and I know she has been to one of my parties before but I never actually talked to her. As in, she knows me, I know her, but she doesnt know I know her. So my opener for the text was
"Whos this?" --Me
"Its Ally, why?" -- Her
"I have this random number on my phone and I wanted to figure out who it is, who is Ally? Describe yourself..." --mE

Anyway, she went on to sending me all kinds of descriptions and I acted like I still didnt know who she is. Long story short, now she wants to hang out.

lol i used the " i think you should call me to thank you" it worked but she was at a party and we talked for like 2 mins then shes like i gotta let you go. dam bad timing

The point is to let HER go. Next time that happens say:
"Hey, hun? One sec, I have another line."

*switch over for 5 seconds and come back. then say:

"Hey, let me call you back in a bit."

Then don't call her back until the next day.

yo honestly speaking.... class' text opener was the shit. especially with hb's that love push-pulling with random shit talk while texting. It is a PERFECT way to spark some excitment. I am def gonna use this for my text game.. or if not, use some nuance of it.

Wow...used some of these to great success....i do believe in waiting a while to reply even though i did find it hard some times...you do want to text straight back!! This one girl i was texting...i was out for the whole day and left my phone at home and i had 3 texts off her....in her words...she felt "neglected"

Well I don't know about you but I've tried "Hey bitches" and it worked no problem.

I think thats just because of my personality, the girls I used it to knew me and that I was joking.

Personally, I'd go for Animal Planet.. It's a great neg aswell, but not as insulting as a weight loss program or 'the biggest loser''
