Realize that alcohol and night game are crutches, and you're holding yourself back. Who cares how "intimate" you are, just do what you want.
Invite her out to a bar.
Or say you're having a party, and she should bring a friend to your place, then be there with one friend when she gets there. Say "Oh man, I forgot to tell you it was cancelled. Well since you already came over, we have to have fun, come on in." Then play drinking games, watch a movie, just have enough fun that they forget there was supposed to be a party in the first place.
