so this weekend I met a girl that had a crush on me when we were kids. I haven't seen her for about 10 years, and that night she just happens to walked in the bar. my problem is that my friend started talking to her first, and I kind of felt obligated to let him go with what he was doing. that night she told me she had crush on me back in the days and yet i didn't really do anything. My friend ended up kissing her at the end of the night, and now I really regret letting my friend take her that night. but not all is lost she added me on facebook, and i trying to figure out if i should facebook chat her and message her on there or not because I don't feel like i will bump into her in town. What do you guys think? and if I message her i was thinking i say something like this:

Hey ___ I know i should of asked u in person, but since i don't see u very often at all. I wanted to get your number in case I have to wait another 10 years to bump into u again.

also I need advice on how should handle my friend because he got her number as well that night, and he is trying to get her too. I don't want to be shady about this
