the subject sums most of my story up but i'll add a little detail.

i had met this girl and she number closed me(her being new at campus and wanting a FRIEND) after we randomly bumped into each other at the train station and found out she takes the same train as me.

so for the past week i had been seeing her and conversation just flowed,friday came and we were once again on the train together,i had her eatting out of my hand,hooked on my words,messing with the hair(you know the whole finger twirling motion)and licking her lips.Also in her words "ever meet somebody you don't intend to develop feelings for but just do?"(i hadn't answered but rather just changed the topic)does this make referance to me or just a random question to see where we fall?

She then asked me friday night to help her with an assignment in town,we were to meet at 10 saturday(today).early in the morning she cancels on me and asks to rescheudle, fine by me but i only have one question should i believe the excuse she gave me.

she had told me that there was a death in the family and that we should do it another day,my question, is this a truthful and valid excuse or just buyers remorse?I know using a death is a very cold and uncalled for excuse to use(if fake) and honestly if she is faking it,i'd rather walk away i'm done with psycho chicks.

So did i just lose this girl which i had within my grasp or am i being stupid and should just believe her,because i can take the hint and leave but shes a 9 and guys stare when i'm with her(pointing out her beauti)

we're suppose to meet monday after campus to complete her assignment but by doing this i'll be helping her but be in no place to creat comfort needed to creat the close.Also i fear if i don't estabilish the close now i'll fall into the friend zone.

I don't think anyone will ever go that far with excuses just to have a 'reason' to cancel. You're definitely over thinking man. She does WANT to reschedule it, right? I'd be more worried if she cancels without wanting to reschedule.
