Okay, so I finally registered to post this:

I've been into this girl HB8Redhead for awhile and she knows it. She has reciprocated some flirting and whatnot. The problem is she has a boyfriend that she complains about but won't leave. I used to not mess with these situations, but I figure fuck it, I want her. My cousin, who was her roommate for awhile has been putting in occasional good words for me, and even told me, "[HB8Redhead] said that she likes you and if she wasn't with [boyfriend] she would probably date you." When I heard that I decided that I would use a kiss gambit I read about from Skills360:

Next time we all (Several of us go out occasionally, the bf never comes) meet, I'm going to have tic tacs with me. I'm gonna pull her aside and say she has something in her eye. I'm going to overdo the gesture so that she closes both of them. When she does I'm gonna put a thumb and forefinger to her chin and kiss her hard on the lips, no tongue, then back out and gauge her reaction:
1. She looks back with lust in her eyes and we make out (win)
2. She gets mad tries to jab me or something, maybe slap (imo, incredibly unlikely)
3. She will be surprised and wait for an explanation

For 1, there is no problem. For 2 or 3, my plan is to match her energy (Feign anger or surprise) and accuse her of stealing one of my tic-tacs. If there are any negative feelings they will be slanted by the ludicrousness of my accusation. I feel like there's no way to really lose. If she digs repeatedly to know why I can finally be honest and say, "Honestly, I just wanted to know what it was like to kiss you."

I figure no matter the outcome, she will know I'm interested in her for real... not just being a pussy schoolboy that plays the crush game. If she gets mad at me for any reason at least I'll know I was a man and can move on.


Thoughts? Contingencies I may have missed? This is gonna happen next week, one way or another.

Thanks bud. I always found it easier to give advice than to even take my own, thus my name. But sometimes I just run mental exercises where I treat my AA as an inevitability and it usually goes away.

I have ben in your situation several times actually, where a girl likes me and comes the usual: You know, if I were single, I'd probably go out with you. But the truth of the fact is that for at least 60% of the girls that say that, they don't mean it. They just get carried by the moment. Now, if you really really want to go after her, then try to be more agressive, just think of this:
Is she just a girl that resisted you, and is that why you want her?
or do you actually want her to be your girlriend?? ... For me, most of the times, I just want to be with them, because they resisted me, but sometimes, rarely I do want her to be mine. Just think, that if she is willing to do that to her boyfriend (Cheat on him with you), what makes her not likely to do it again, now to you.
You can always go with:
On a scale from 1 to 10 how good you kiss? ... Whatever she says you challenge her: Bullshit, I bet you're not higher than 6 ... then she'll want to prove you wrong.

Haha thanks for the input. She never told me she would date me or that she likes me. She just flirts with me. She told my cousin (apparently in confidence) that she would be with me. I don't think any of it means anything other than I should try this. And yes, I'm looking to bang it out. :] I get the 'whole cheats on him, will cheat on me' thing. I'm not a hero gonna save her, I'm a man gonna give her what he needs. Foruntely I'm working for a few more nights so I have to talk about it until I can be about it.

i used this earlier with my ex, it worked pretty well she then made me kiss her for a long while and text me after saying how much of a good kiss it was, i replied saying ' yeah well you know ' and from then on haven't replied - we will see what happens.

that ones pretty bang-on - i have used this technique a few times and the most i have managed to close was six girls in the space of four hours. i did it for shits and giggles with people i didn't know so might be different for you. but let us know how it gets on. im just intrigued because i have been in that exact same spot last year and if i tried this i think i may have gotten somewhere.

Finally got to do this yesterday. I had a house party and brought her to my room, showed her my alcohol collection. Then said she had an eyelash in her eye. I covered her eyes and kissed for a good moment on the lips. I pulled away and she smiled and said, "You tricked me." Then we went back out to the party and made out for awhile... she agreed to stay the night. We were cuddling on my bed and the group of people she came with pulled her away. Massive cockblock. I couldn't argue with all of them though and she didn't want to hurt anyone's feelings. I'm gonna pick her up today though and we're gonna hang out solo. :]

Sucked to go to sleep alone last night, but she's down for today.
