So I met this girl at a bar - HB8, 6 years older than me (23-29) and I call her yesterday after texting a lot the day before. She doesn't pick up the call but texts me an hour or so later with a lot of 'text IOIs', qualifying herself to me etc.. and she starts dropping a lot of questions so the conversation turns to...

Me: Wow, throwing the first date questions out a bit early are we?
HB: I didn't realize this was supposed to be a date. I thought you were trying to meet people since u just moved here.
Me: Hey now, you're the one droppin the first date questions out there!
HB: not necessarily.
Me: (snip/stack) But yea, I still have a house in ___ so I tend to go up there alot and hang out and get to know people
HB: Getting to know people is fun I wish I hadn't cloistered myself so much. I leave for ___ in a couple months
Me: Yea, I remember you saying that.. You seem to be quite the social creature - picked me up rather quickly I was all ready to just grab a drink and there you were!
HB: Sorry I tend to be a bit sensitive to the whole dating idea and perhaps didn't realize ur just teasing me.



So from there I didn't really bring up any idea of a 'date' but we are going out tonight to a wine bar where I plan on escalating. I have about 2 more hours left in the 7-hour rule and then plan on seeing where that leads. I ended the conversation first after some great push/pull.. Any advice on how to handle it?

i would take it slow, shes deff aware that you had thought tonight would be romantic, so be cocky-funny, confident, negg her a bit. basicly frame yourself superior to her. I would take it slow on the kino, because she might be conscience of your efforts.
