Well had 2 approaches this week on my racingbike..

First moment was in my own street seing someone on another racer with his/her
folks or even grandparents maybe lol...behind on normal bisycle going slow
So i get alonside..see that it turns out to be a girl.. an Hb7 with short hair.
I open with hey gonna make a group with 4? we gonna take the lead for them slow ones behind us lol..she smiles..yea gotta go slow and keep checking if they still behind me...we make some small chat bout her bike lookin brand new but 5 yrs old and my bike..a minute later we part ways...and i bail out cuz i needed to go another way and was not gonna go turtle speed with her anyway and her parents or whoever they was behind us....i left it...

But i was like damnnn a chance to meet a cutie with racin bike in my own neighbourhood and i did not know how to handle it...

Second one..got lost in another town lookin for the way out alongside the highway towards my city...came across some big party music a huge tent and stuff...
2 HBs locked up their bike so i went to ask directions..but thats all i did and left being in my racing outfit with my bike i could not see a way to try n game them..just wanted to get out that freakin town toward my home lol

2 chances to open a kinda single girl and 2 set but i bailed...
what could i do diffrently??

At the doorstep of a new life..

First approach: not much you could have done there. She was with family, must have been though. But I would've asked for her number and say "just in case you wanna do a rabbit race, no turtles attached."

Second: should've asked what all the fuss was about, talk about getting there by mistake and find out where they were from.

And about bailing, don't worry, the more you fail, the more you learn. Take these two situations as lessons.
